In the morning of August 9, Power Transmission and Transformation Equipment (Smart Grid) Industry Development Seminar and Baosheng Group "Twelfth Five-Year" Development Plan Seminar were held in our county. 12 experts are invited to the seminars, including: Wei Dong, head of Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute, head of Wire and Cable Branch of China Electrical Equipment Industrial Association and an expert in Chinese power transmission and transformation industry, Mao Qingchuan, general engineer of Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute, as well as Yang Liming, vice general engineer of State Grid Electric Power Research Institute. Wang Tingguo, vice secretary of County Committee and acting county chief, delivered a speech, and county leaders including Xia Zhengyu, Gu Changrong and Huang Caitang attended the seminars.

After years' development, there have been more than 400 enterprises engaging in the power transmission and transformation equipment (smart grid) industry in out county, with annual production and sale of over CNY 30 billion and the products covering a number of fields, including power transmission, power transformation, power distribution and power utilization. Presently, the whole industry takes on the atmosphere of elevated concentration and openness, and is likely to exert influences in terms of innovation and competitiveness on a larger scale. Last year, our county was award the title of "Manufacturing Base for Jiangsu Provincial Power Transmission and Transformation Industry".

Wang Tingguo said, now power transmission and transformation equipment (smart grid) industry in Baoying has entered into a period of important strategic opportunities. The seminars, held at this critical moment, are intended to clarify the overall plan, direction and key issues of power transmission and transformation equipment (smart grid) industry by virtue of the wisdom and experiences of the experts present at the seminars, with an aim to highlighting the future development of the industry at a higher level, in more areas and at a brand new platform.

Wang Tingguo expected all the experts would present us a more deepened and detailed plan for power transmission and transformation equipment (smart grid) industry in Baoying. Plan formulation units are required to fully take the suggestions of experts into consideration, and further formulate, improve and deepen the plan with an aim to leading the industry in a more intensive and concentrated way and further strengthening and expanding the key enterprises.

The experts are holding discussions penetratingly on "Development Plan for Power Transmission and Transformation Equipment (Smart Grid) Industry in Baoying" and "Twelfth Five-Year Development Plan of Baosheng Group".

Gu Changrong presided over the seminars, and required us to deepen the understanding at a higher level, and promote the clustering of industries and the development of enterprises by specific measures.

Xia Licheng, chairman of board of directors of Baosheng Group, made a speech on how to strengthen the communications between the company and the superior departments and between the company and scientific research departments with an aim to expanding Baosheng Goup.
