In the morning of August 8, the forum of pump valve and pressure vessel jointly organized by Jiangsu Machinery Industry Federation and Baoying County Government as well as the opening ceremony for pump valve manufacturing base in Jiangsu were held in the County Administrative Center. Zhang Yubao, vice chairman and secretary-general of China General Machinery Industry Association, as well as Xie Jin, vice chairman and secretary general of Jiangsu Machinery Industry Federation were present. Wang Tingguo, vice secretary of County Committee and acting county chief delivered a speech. Xie Jin and Wang Tingguo jointly unveiled the trademark of pump valve manufacturing base in Jiangsu. County leaders including Zhai Shigao, Xia Zhengyu, Gu Changrong and Huang Caitang, directors of famous domestic enterprises in pump valve and pressure vessel industry as well as experts of scientific institutes and universities attended the forum.

Wang Tingguo said in his speech: industry of pump valve and pressure vessel is one of the most important characterized industries in Baoying County. Especially in the recent years, as China is quickening its pace in the adjustment of energy resources structures, industry of pump valve and pressure vessel in our county entered into a period of fast growth with annual production and sale achieving CNY 4 billion.

Wang Tingguo also said: since honored as "Manufacturing Base for Pump Valve in Jiangsu Province" by Jiangsu Machinery Industry Federation, out county shall take this opportunity to hold the forum of pump valve and pressure vessel industry, with the theme of "cooperation, innovation and development". In the forum, we explored the trend, innovations and development of the said industry, as well as the development path for pump valve and pressure vessel industry, and clarified the development thought and the key issues in the work, so as to build Baoying into an industrial base with local advantages and influences whether at home and abroad!
