May 26 U. S. local time, Zhong Sheng, Secretary of the CCP Committee and Executive of the NPC Standing Committee of the County, who was carrying out investment promotion activities in U. S., friendly met with Mr. Kevin Dumas, Mayor of Attleboro, the State of Massachusetts. The two parties carried out candor and friendly conversation. Gu Changrong, the Vice Mayor of the County attended the meeting.

Attleboro is located in the State of Massachusetts on the east coast of U. S. with a total area of 732,000KM2. The industrial economy is relatively advanced, possessing several famous enterprises such as Engineered Plastics Solution Group, Inc., Sensata Technologies and Engineered Materials Solutions, etc. Attleboro established friendship city with our county in 2007, which started the new chapter for the communication of the two cities.

Texas Instruments (TI) came to Baoying in 1998, and our country established friendship city with Attleboro in 2007. During the 10 years’ friendly communication, economic and trading exchanges have exerted an active role, which has advocated the establishment of the friendly cities, which, at the same time, also lays a solid foundation for the further cooperation in economy and trading between the two cities.

In the meeting, Zhong Sheng introduced the current economic and social development of our country to the American guests, and sincerely invited Mr. Kevin Dumas to visit our country at his convenient time.

The Mayor Dumas said that Baoying is a beautiful city, attracting people with its excellent ecological resources. He showed his attitude of willingness for further exchange and visiting to advocate the cooperation between the two parties in economy and culture, etc. Mr. Dumas also happily accepted the invitation on visiting Baoying at proper time.

At the completion of the meeting, Zhong Sheng presented an embroidery painting of Great Wall, a special gift from our county to Mr. Dumas.
