The transportation is quick and convenient. Baoying is 340 kilometers away from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, 212 kilometers away from Nanjing Lukou Airport and only 60 and 80 kilometers respectively away from Huai'an Airport and Middle-Su Airport which are under construction.

The transportation can reach any port. Goods can be exported from Yangzhou Port, Shanghai Port and Lianyun Port. The distance to these three ports is 100 kilometers, 350 kilometers and 180 kilometers respectively by car.

(1)Road The Beijing-Shanghai Expressway passes through the county. In the county establishes Baoying, Xiaji and Jing River three entrances to the expressway. By road, Baoying is 340 kilometers, 200 kilometers, 890 kilometers and 420 kilometers away from Shanghai, Nanjing, Beijing and Hangzhou respectively. The roads are connected to a network in the county area; roads of "Four Vertical and Two Horizontal" with sound condition go through the entire boundary.

(2)Railway Around Baoying exist Huai'an, Yangzhou and Nanjing railway stations with the distance of 55 kilometers, 105 kilometers and 200 kilometers respectively. Baoying Station is under construction with three stops in Baoying area.

(3)Inland River Transportation The golden waterway--the Great Channel flows through the entire boundary, which is navigable for the barges of 2000-T class. Baoying Port which is directly connected to Yangzhou Port is under construction.

There are about 10 logistic enterprises in the county, undertaking goods transportation timely, quickly and conveniently. Baosheng Logistics Park covering 35 hectares is under construction. Several international delivering companies have settled in Baoying like EMS whose business is around the globe.

With a direct declaration point of Yangzhou City in Baoying, all of the oversea enterprises in Baoying can directly go through the procedures of customs examination when undertaking import and export procedures.
