It was founded in 1985 and is the large state-owned enterprise which specializes in productions of wire and cable of 500kV and below 500 kV, cable materials, superconducting conductor material and transformer, switch cabinet and other electrical products. It has won the "China Famous Brand", "China Top Brand", "State Inspect-free Product" and "Chinese Symbolic Brand of Wire and Cable Industry" and has state-level enterprise technical center, post-doctoral research station and wire and cable engineering research center of Jiangsu Province. In 2008 the group sales amount was over 10 billion Yuan, which was selected as one of Chinese top 500 enterprises, the top 100 enterprises of chinese machinery industry and the top 100 enterprises in Jiangsu Province. It is a joint venture corporation invested by Prysmian Cable whose parent company is America's Goldman Sachs Investment Group, one of the world's top-500 companies and Baosheng Group. Prysmian Cable is the largest provider of power cable and communication cable and production base of high-voltage cable in the world. Prysmian Baosheng Cables Co., Ltd. has the only 750,000 volts high-pressure detection system in domestic firms and is the biggest production base of high-voltage cable in Asia.
Sensata Technologies Baoying Co., Ltd.
It was founded in March 1996, formerly known as Jiangsu Deyi Electronics Co., Ltd, is the joint venture of Baoying Electrical Plant and Texas Instruments Company and became the wholly-owned company of Texas Instruments Company in October 1998. In 2006, it was renamed Sensata Technologies (Baoying) Co., Ltd after the acquisition of American Bain Investment Company. On March 11, 2010, the company headquarters came successfully into New York Stock Exchange. The company has 43 various production lines and products have obtained safety certification marks of UL, CSA, ENEC, and CQC. It has the annual capacity of 320 million thermal protectors, thermostats, control components of household appliances, connectors of integrated circuits, pressure switches and mechanical and electronic components and is the largest production base of thermal protection sensing elements.
